Toronto-based photographer Giancarlo Pawelec has always been involved in the arts – from oil painting, to graffiti during the “rebellious teenage years”, and finally photography. His self-taught career spans nearly two decades, having started with automotive editorials before moving into portrait (fashion/beauty) and commercial work.
Giancarlo’s success as an image-maker is due to his perseverance and passion for capturing the magic moment. His natural ability to quickly establish rapport with his subject on set and work closely with a team, has garnered him clientele that include Jaguar/Land Rover, Porsche, Ford, Marc Anthony Cosmetics, Kenneth Cole Productions, various publications, amongst others.
